These guys were great!! Super friendly, great service setting up a road bike rental and great service doing a repair on another bike in our group that had an issue come up during our trip. The rental bike was in great shape and well maintained. Had a lot of confidence that these guys knew what they were doing, you could tell by how quickly and easily they worked on the bikes. Would recommend this bike shop any day, wish there was a place like this on every bike trip I do.

Super accommodating and the bikes were in outstanding condition. Seth was also most happy to provide us with suggestions of places to go and things to do, providing us with a map to ensure we remembered it all. You can return bikes as late as 9pm, which is also 5-star.

This is the third time that I have rented from Meat Machine , and each time the service has been excellent, and the equipment is in perfect working order. This was my first time renting an e-bike, I selected the Cannondale. It was a great experience. Seth and John were also able to help with overnight charging, when needed, as my accommodation did not allow any bikes inside. You can’t go wrong with Meat Machine!

We rented e-bikes for 3 days. Seth and John were terrific. Friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. We dropped off the bikes at the end of every day and returned in the morning to find them fully charged and ready to go. Bikes were perfectly suited for the terrain and well maintained. Set up was excellent, pride of workmanship was apparent and the e-bikes made effortless work of the hills and the occasional gravel. Will return for future rentals. Highly recommend.

The best way to tour San Juan Island is on an e-bike from Meat Machine Cycles in Friday Harbor. We received friendly service that quickly fitted our bicycles and instructions on how to use them, and then we rode off to explore the island. We planned a full-day tour from Friday Harbor with time to explore San Juan Island National Park, including Cattle Point Lighthouse, watch for whales swimming past Lime Kiln Point State Park, and explore Roche Harbor before returning to Friday Harbor.
